Ringtones Are Easy To Get

Believe it or not, there are many people who have never tried to download ringtones.  They are seemingly content with what came with their phone.  Still, others believe that it's just too complicated to find a quality provider and make a selection.  As you will see, as you continue to read this short report, it is extremely easy.

In a crowded room someone gets a call and several people go for their phone.  That's because so many of them have the same ringtone.  They just accept the ringtone choices that came with their phone.

There several quality providers of ringtones available on the internet.  Take some time and visit one or two providers.  You'll find out how easy it really is to have your own personal ringtone.

Instructions:

The Built-in Method

Find out if your cell phone carrier gives you a built-in way to download ringtones from your phone.  This way is usually the most costly method.  It's about $2.50 per tone, but very simple.  Simply press the "web" or "internet" button.  After it loads, go to the "downloads" section.  Then, there should be a section for ringtones.  Preview the new tones available and download.

Use a computer with internet connection:

Go to any search engine and type in "ringtone providers."  You will find a whole bunch from which to make your choices.  Choosing a site may take a few minutes.  If it is required that you register, make certain not to check boxes that will sign you up for emails or additional services.

Select ringtones that you like and have them sent right to your phone.  You will be required to enter your carrier and phone number; it you haven't already done so.  Your selection(s) will be sent to your phone.

Setting the new ringtones:

Figure out if you would like to have one ringtone as a universal ring.  It will play every time you receive a call.  You may want to have a specific tone to each entry in your phone book.  This way, different ringtones will play when different people call you.

Go to the "settings" section of your phone to set a universal ringtone.  You may have to consult the manual for your phone.  If you don't have the manual, you may be able to find it online at the manufacturer's site.  Or, go to your carrier's site.

To set a ringtone that is specific to a particular caller, first find that person in your phone book.  Choose the person for the special ring.  Then, select "edit" and scroll down in the phone book entry and select "ring".  Then, pick the ringtone that you want to play when that person calls.

Go ahead and give it a try.  You may find that it's a lot of fun.
